Cannabidiol, or CBD, is a chemical compound derived from the Cannabis sativa plant (aka hemp). While it does not have psychoactive effects like THC does (i.e. you won't get high), CBD can work with your body's natural systems to help you manage daily stressors and anxiety, sleep more peacefully, find relief from chronic pain & digestive issues and feel like yourself again. Our Tranquility and Enlighten tinctures are formulated with CBD and enhanced with Ayurvedic ingredients.

There are at least 113 unique compounds found in hemp called cannabinoids. All cannabinoids, including CBD, produce a response in our body's endocannabinoid system, which manages our body's balance and homeostasis. It regulates our immune systems, mood and nervous systems. Our bodies naturally produce cannabinoids to help us regulate sleep, mood and pain, but if our endocannabinoid system becomes affected by internal or external stressors, we start to experience restless sleep, unbalanced moods and pain responses. CBD helps to bring the body back into balance and boost the function of our internal regulatory system.

Cannabigerol, or CBG, is derived from young hemp plants. CBD works with your body's endocannabinoid system to support its natural functions: enhancing pleasure and motivation, regulating appetite & sleep and alleviating pain. Like CBD, CBG does not give you high but does have many therapeutic benefits. However, CBG activates our body's internal receptors differently than CBD does. Additionally, CBG can stimulate & regulate your appetite, while CBD does not.

No. CBD will not get you high.

While full spectrum hemp extract cannot get you high, you will likely fail a drug test when consuming it. Full spectrum CBD and CBG contain trace amounts of THC that, while not having psychoactive effects, can still build up in your system over time and cause a failed drug test.
