Cannabidiol, or CBD, is a chemical compound derived from the Cannibid sativa plant (aka hemp). While it does not have psychoactive effects like THC does (i.e. you won't get high), CBD can work with your body's natural systems to help you manage daily stressors and anxiety, sleep more peacefully, find relief from chronic pain & digestive issues and feel like yourself again. Cannabigerol, or CBG, is derived from young hemp plants. CBD works with your body's endocannabinoid system to support its natural functions: enhancing pleasure and motivation, regulating appetite & sleep and alleviating pain. Like CBD, CBG does not give you high but does have many therapeutic benefits. However, CBG activates our body's internal receptors differently than CBD does. Additionally, CBG can stimulate & regulate your appetite, while CBD does not.

While full spectrum hemp extract cannot get you high, you will likely fail a drug test when consuming it. Full spectrum CBD and CBG contain trace amounts of THC that, while does not have psychoactive effects, can still build up in your system over time and cause a failed drug test.
